Dr. Sunil P. Verma M.D

Sunil P. Verma, M.D. is board-certified and fellowship trained Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon. Dr. Verma has been featured on the Discovery Channel and as a medical expert numerous times on CBS for The Doctors TV Show.

Dr. Verma obtained his undergraduate degrees at Dartmouth College and then went on to U.S.C. where he received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine. From there completed residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at Los Angeles County –USC Hospital. Dr. Verma then completed his fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Laryngology where he received advanced training in the management of voice, swallowing and breathing disorders under a team of world-renowned surgeons and scientists.

Dr. Verma is able to offer patients specialized care due to his unique training and broad skill set. Using state-of-the-art equipment, he is able to diagnose conditions that are difficult to recognize. He is able to perform minimally invasive procedures such as laser surgery, vocal fold injections and transnasal esophagoscopy in the office instead of the operating room. Dr. Verma is an expert in the management of throat and laryngeal cancer. Using specialized instruments including microscopes and lasers, Dr. Verma is able to perform surgery for cancer in a way to preserve normal anatomy, while removing cancerous tissue, preserving function and improving patient’s quality of life.
